Anyone can sponsor a concert – Friend or Patron, choir member, family, or just someone who loves classical music. Supporting a performance is a very special way of marking a major personal or family event.
The cost of concert sponsorship is £1,500. To mark your gift, we offer complimentary tickets and hospitality for the sponsored performance, public recognition of your sponsorship (if you’re happy with this) and fee-free advance booking and discounts on tickets for our concerts during that season. We know that different aspects will appeal to different people, so we will talk over with you the combination that would suit you best.

Concert sponsorship is a big outlay for one person, so we offer a range of other sponsorship options and we’ll also consider the possibility of shared sponsorship between two individuals.
Founded in 1837, HCS is one of Herefordshire’s most recognised institutions. We draw members from across the county, with around 150 regular singers of all ages, while our concerts can attract up to 700 people. Our conductor, Geraint Bowen is Organist and Director of Music at Hereford Cathedral as well as Artistic Director of the Hereford Three Choirs Festival. In 2018 the Cathedral Choir and the Choral Society were privileged to be invited by Prince Charles to sing at Buckingham Palace.
